Benefits of Membership

Joining DelSolUK as an official member has lots of benefits:

* Access to restricted areas on the club forum, chat areas which have a wealth of knowledge, making sure that if you need something, or have to repair something, you can do it.

* The ability to sell cars and those parts you don't need any more

* DelSolUK merchandise is available for all forum members to buy but as an official member you'll get discounts on these items.

* Priority stand space at shows

* Access to the Members' Download Area including:

- The EPC, which is INVALUABLE when trying to find parts for your Sol, with this beauty, you can actually get the part numbers you need, so, when you phone Honda For them, you will in all likelyhood get a better service/deal from them.

- Transtop Repair Manual - The Holy Grail of publications for the TT owner, diagnose and solve your problems if you can, if not, you are better educated to describe your problem to our specialists.

- Workshop Manual

- Discounts from traders and insurance companies such as Adrian Flux, H-Tune, Opie Oils, Chris Knott and Prestige.

Membership Fees and How to Pay

Initial membership costs £10.00 which you can pay by Paypal using the 'Membership' link at the top of the page. Please include your username and that it's for membership in the comments section. Please also remember to pick up the Paypal charges otherwise the club doesn't get the full £10. If you want to pay by cheque, cash or bank transfer then please PM sol'd out to get the relevant details.

Membership is renewed on an annual basis on 1 April at a cost of £5.

Based on some feedback and after some discussions we decided to reduce our membership costs, so its now even cheaper to become an official member and get all the benefits above. We also decided to wave the renew for all paid up members until April 2017, so no costs to any current paid up members until then!

Please be aware that upgrading your account to full membership is a MANUAL process, we are usually pretty hot at this but sometimes it may take 24/48 hours. Its not instant, the version of PHPBB we use is not monetized, we use a 3rd party plugin application to enable us to work it this way, other options are even more manual and troublesome so If you have paid and the account is not upgraded after 48 hours contact an administrator, if you need access to a manual quickly then contact an administrator.

**UPDATE**

Based on the fact that the Forum is now not really used and due to annual running costs of £120 I can see no alternative but to backup the environment and close the site down May 2025. I've managed to restore it locally if any information is required but due to the majority of activity being on facebook and with very very little activity on here it just doesn't make sense to keep the forum running any longer.

I'm open to suggestions though, I'll renew the domain name until 2026.
