Origins of my car

Postby Gerry » Wed Aug 27, 2014 10:13 pm

Just found the original slip of sale for my car.

It was sold out of a Honda dealership in Jeresey, Channel Islands. To a woman for the grand sum of £16,151. Quite interesting. I never really looked through all the paperwork properly as I bought off a mate. But still it was cool to find it. Although you would expect the car to be a major rust bucket starting life on a smaller island.

This seems very Similar to mine Gerry. Mine was originally on Jersey, services were done by Derek Warwick Honda which is the local dealer on the island still have the original bill as well  And they paid for the extra spoiler\electric aerial, even have the upgrade list with prices.

It only covered 14k in 10 years, then came back to the mainland. Mileage has crept up until my ownership where its done about 500 miles in the last year and crept over 76k
Did you know DSUK are on:

Derek Warwick is still the only Honda dealer in jersey and has been for nearly 30 years. He also had dealerships in Southampton, Winchester and Portsmouth and at one time was the biggest privately owned Honda dealer. He still works in the Jersey dealership but sold all the UK sites which are now owned by Hendy group. Some of the technicians that work in the dealerships have been there for over 25 years and worked on crx's from when they were first launched and still work on mine.
