Pics will have to be tomorrow at got home late and getting dark.
The cat c repair was a diy one by me, twatted a xsara tow bar near the right chassis leg, drilled off front panel and welded a new one on, not the best looking welds but solid, but the chassis leg was about 6mm out and would not budge to straighten, I compensated when putting back together but it didn't effect the steering geometery it was only the very front of the leg. All straight as measured the monkey pile out of it to get it straight and had to panel beat the inner arches straight again. I was happy to drive this myself afterwards, I'm not comfortable selling it to someone else just incase.
I know I can generate a lot more cash breaking it as I have no funds to buy another car, or fit the new clutch, plus the diff seal will need doing at the same time.
There's a droning on the front when slowing the car so either drive shaft, brake disc or bearing. The.oil sump plug looks like a monkey has swung off it as it does screw in flush, oil pan or retap needed at next service.Last 3 years mot have had advisories for all the bushes. Inner track rods are needed as advisory and you can feel it. Also be predator pads upfront keep glazing. Oil leaking from cam cover.
Basically it's turning into a money pit and I'm skint, I'm able to borrow my brothers Celica vvti 190 as we bought it this weekend for us to take to the nurburgring in September, no where near as fun, I bought the sol to go there but then crashed it like a dick and spent a wedge fixing it.
It has gathers rear speakers grills. Uncracked map light door openers. Lowering springs which were new in September 60mm drop. No front bumber as still the crashed one, no aux lights but have the switch. No air con as removed with crash. Jdm rear number plate fillers/panel. Good battery. Jdm headlights
