Picture heavy! :D

Hello My name is Storme. Here is my build thread for my 1996 Honda civic crx ESI.

She has a transtop roof, and a D16y8 :D

I bought the car completely standard with only two owners from new. An elderly lady, and her son (Gary) who owned it for a while while he moved it on.

So far I have fitted a Skunk2 manifold, a DC2 integra cat, and a Skunk2 cat back exhaust. I have some pre-facelif ep3 seats, with already modified seat rails (I find the OEM seats to be unbearably uncomfortable).

I also have a full set of new Hardrace arms and a genuine Honda RTA bush.

My boyfriend has some spare MeisterR GT1 clubrace coilovers that we are going to try, they are 8/6 so hopefully will still feel soft enough for B road driving.

I'm currently trying to get some wheels... This is providing to be a massive pain, so any suggestions here would me massively appreciated. Must be 15" 6-6.5j wide, I do not want 7j, as it won't sit right with a 195/50/15.

She is currently in at dynodaze getting some welding done, I had to order some Prelude inner arches from Latvia, and some EG outer arches from Tegiwa.

The gearbox and engine are beautiful, and so is the interior is stunning, absolutely immaculate inside.

The plan is simply to make a car I enjoy to drive, I'll take it to car shows, and potentially even the nurburgring when we go next year in the DC2.

The car is currently Milano Pink, and I plan to respray it the new mx5 dark metallic red.

The cars name is Ruth :)

The car was originally a transtop, but the Gary had so much trouble with it, it was removed and converted to manual.

This is a great weight reduction, however I am unable to remove the roof manually on my own, so we serviced it and put it back in.

I removed the transtop and hugely regretted losing the cool factor!! So good to see you've gone for it again! Looks like a great project :-)

The rust on the passenger side isn't as bad, the inner arch was still flogged, but the outer was savable.
