Project Mediterranean

Postby Danny_CS » Sun Oct 13, 2013 7:17 am

Welcome to the running report of my 1994 Del Sol.

Its a Japan Import with 71000kms on it.
Factory Options:
A/C
Del Sol Floor Mats
Rear Wing Spoiler
Honda 4500 CD Tuner
Mudflaps
Exhaust Tip

Mods When I got it:
Seat Covers
14 inch alloys (No idea what brand they are)

I have only had it for a day (driven it a total of about 1hr). This project is to be a weekend car for dry weather use only. It hardly ever rains in Malta, so I should get a fair bit of use out of it on the weekends.

::UPDATE::

Went for a drive this weekend. Nothing to report apart from an annoying sound in the passenger footwell.

BOUGHT: ISO plug so I can get to work wiring up my LG sounds.

::UPDATE::

I finally have a head unit that works, although speakers sound like they may need replacing soon. I found what the annoying rattle was: a load of funny little Yen coins XD.

I also finally found some time to upload a few more pics today, unfortunately it was raining today (something pretty rare in Malta) so I didn't take her out.

Feast yer eyes :)

Because of the ramp I can't really do much with it, no lip/coilovers etc . . although that may change soon. I own the place (not rented) so probably my first mod is going to be getting the ramp and entire drive in redone :mrgreen:

:: UPDATE ::

Got around to doing a few jobs on the Sol:

Replaced Tentioner and Timing Belt, Plugs

Found out I need a new Clutch and master cylinder, so those are next on the list.

I also had a nasty gash on the underside which I rust treated.

I also got my hands on a bag of stickers for cheap :D
