Well, steep learning curve for me. Don't ever try riveting something like this, even with washers, the duct is only a cheap thin one from china, I could nearly see through it at some points. I've had to cover up some cracks with rubber edging for the time bring until I sell some parts to fund another duct. High tensile bolts with washers and nyloc nuts is the way to go. The canards fitted fine, the lip fitment isnt super but I've measured it and its like most carbon fibre stuff I've bought the proportions from one side to another are different, so there is some arch overhang on one side, its not falling off anyway! Overall I'm satisfied with it, destroyed the bumper though! Got winglets to do next, more holes in CF.

I'm no bodywork specialist, something I should stay away from!

Refitted the bumper last night, looks a bit more agressive and evil. Waiting for an air pipe and grill for the duct, should go straight into the air box off a nice flexi hose and the box removed, probably going to be a fair bit louder though and its 98db already so not looking forward to pushing it closer to failing noise tests. Going to order a smaller plate for the front

Like it, does give a more aggressive racey look. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the square plates. Is it a JDM thing I'm not quite clued up on these things. What are the laws on plates is it possible to have a sticker type plate in place of the usual long plate on the front. Just something I was thinking for mine.

Is that the bumper you will have on for Beaulieu or is it purely a track set up.

Sticker plates aren't road legal in any sense, this plate is a UK legal size front plate. The smaller sized oblong bike size plates you can only get away with on imports, and only if you can't fit a full sized one on but providing you have an import you shouldn't get in too much bother, however there is 2 sizes for these mini ones, if you have a 1 in the reg it has to be slightly smaller. I'll probably go for small import plate and carry a spare with me just in case the plod have a paddy if i can find someone to make one as all thats got complicated now!

I'll have this on for Beaulieu in a couple weeks

So my bits of arch rust bubbling through (Nothing major) have been cut out and fresh metal has been welded in. The rear bumper was painted as well and all the insides were waxoyled. In for MOT tomorrow, not envisaging any problems, putting on some new AD08R's before hand as the old ones are on the limit and won't clear water so well on my upcoming airfield day. Planning on painting up with inner parts of my discs tomorrow morning as im fed up with the rusty hub look, will also be fitting on my facelift bumper ready for JAE with my 3/4 size number plate (If I get pulled over I'm blaming Chris for disliking my legal massiveo one!) Then next week I'm fitting up the harness bar and starting to think about some harnesses and my seats. Started bubble wrapping up all the old panels so they don't get damaged in the back of the garage

Need to work out what I'm doing with my induction kit on this bumper, might be refitting the standard air box.

Its not really that wobbly!

Got a few jobs off the list before JAE today, painted up the rear inner brake discs, this really annoys me, 5 seconds after washing your car the discs look like they have been sat around rusting for a few months!

Also replaced a couple of the AD08's with AD08R's, they were 5 years old and seen a lot of abuse on the rear, great wear rate though.

Took her in for MOT and she passed with no advisories, which was nice.

Got back home and fitted up the front bumper for JAE, next on the list Tuesday is the harness bar and painting up the front discs\calipers.

Right I've finally took the plunge and got some new wheels after I shipped on the 2nd set of gold 15s I had powder coated, I found some nice RPF1s for a good price.

These are 16x8 et38, with 205,45 tyres so fitment is going to be interesting and they have a bit of stretch!

Finally some 16s! Ant the silver should break up the colour a bit.

That looks lovely! I don't think you are gonna have a problem with the fitment. If anything the rim width might be cutting it close but rim diameter of a 205/45/16 is actually smaller than of a 195/55/15 and ET is just 7 mm diff between the OEM 45. But God this rim looks good!

Yeh fitment has been fine, no rubbing or arch contact at all even with a bit of drop. Colours not growing on me though so that may change shortly! Please with the Honda centre caps, made for the job.
