Jamie do you need to modify the seat rails to get DC2 to fit?

Yes mate, you will read in many places that the dc2 seatplan is the same as an EG, that in turn is the same as as Delsol but its incorrect. One of the delsol seat rails in a direct replacement onto the recaros, and the other needs to me modified to fit.

just a small update:

A badger hit me! or i hit a badger!
Image

as you can see theres some slight damage, nothing i cant fix though :) just waiting for some fiberglass then ill sort it, might even write a how to for anyone if there interested.

also ditched my fake carbon gear knob for a much better one ;)

Image

Image

and i fitted some amber sidelights (cant really see properly from the picture:

Image

i had been having problems sometimes with the engine misiring at times so checked the ht leads and realised they were "type-R high performance leads" and they were shorting from the cap to the intake so swapped them to standard ones, also when i tried to pull it off the spark plug it just snapped so im guessing they were some chinese crap.

Image

Thats all for now, next on my list to do is to fix my bumper then spray the bumper, boot (holes from the old spoiler) and some little bits. Has anyone got any ideas that they think would look good? thanks for readng :)

not been on here in a while so thought i would let you all know what ive been up to:

picked up a manifold for pretty cheap, 4-1 so bad ground clearance and lack of torque but a noticeable difference in vtec.
Image

fitted an aftermarket backbox but didnt really like the fitment or style of it.
Image

changed the cam seal too, no more oil leaks!
Image

i then saw a guy locally selling an esi with a blown engine for £250 and i couldnt pass it up so went down and had a look, as you can see its pretty rough but it had little bits i needed. ended up getting him down to £150 without the alloys and my mate put in £30 so he could do a rear disc conversion on his b18 eg civic. so for £120 i think its great! managed to fix my transtop using bits from it too! turned out i had a bad RCU, roof tilter and a bad earth.
Image

Image

took the head off to see what was wrong with it, see if you can figure it out ;)
Image

Image

i decided i liked the exhaust from the esi more so swapped the back box over.

thats it for now, if anyone needs any bits from the esi let me know im selling stuff off cheap!
