well went in the garage to fit the fuel rail adaptor and it went horrible wrong :(. don't no weather I crossed threaded by accident or I have the wrong thread pitch but I have ended up with stripped thread in my fuel rail and the adaptor thread stripped. ordered another rail and another adaptor so hopefully this time it will be ok. I am trying a m12x1.25 again but if it doesn't start nice I think it may be m12x1.5

I wont forget the mot mate cant wait for the day I come out of that mot station with a new ticket. I can tax the dam thing then!

Hope you have more luck at the MOT than I did today 'coz mine failed due to poor headlight pattern ! Really annoying as they look perfect but must be the reflectors around the bulb. Think I'll have to ditch the JDM one piece set up and go for something else.
Good luck with fuel rail adapter problem - I'm sure you will sort it out - if anyone can you can. Cheers.

yeh I sorted the problem. got a new fuel rail and polished it up and then bought a new an to metric adaptor and it went in. also had to send a part of my an braided fuel line to be shortened but its all ok now.

shame really cus the wiring is now an issue as we are using a section from the d series loom and a big section from the b series and the dash loom wil connect apart from 1 plug. swap the dash loom over and they all connect apart from a different connector grrrrrrrrrr. so now need to trace every wire and cut and join to a new plug.

so hopefully this coming weekend it will be time to start it up.

I have started it mate, and it does run had a handful of niggly problems and things. but sorted all them. however I have been flat out trying to sort out 1 issue. which is idling high. I can get the idling down to around 1000rpm. but as soon as you take it for a drive and release the clutch revs stick at 2-3k

the car is currently over southwest customs having both sides painted so I will post some pics up. but to be honest I haven't posted anything on here as just been so busy trying to sort everything out ready for japfest. getting the car back 2nd of may so got to have another go at idling issue then. apart from that though it is sweet as a nut (y)
