yeh its getting there mate. my pics arent the greatest to be fair need to take better pics of the repairs on the car. i shall do exactly that this weekend

made some more progress this weekend. had car transported to bodyshop to have the first stage of respray done. started building it back up today. still a fair way to go but coming along nicely. in some of the pics the car looks greeny/blue. but it is a pastely baby blue. and is to say the least in your face

yeh you probably wont see many this colour. it is a original honda colour though. from 1981 :). the slam panel/bay and inside the boot will be painted aswell. this will be done in the next few weekends.

and as for the black you are spot on. i am going for bbs rep black centres with polished lip. and the front bumper centre will be going black along with the bottom of the rear bumper. sideskirts and other bits will also be painted black witht he same 3m texture paint as the front and rear bumper.


got the screen in today so thats another step and got the rear numberplate panel in primer aswell. so we are slowly getting there :)

fair enough dude, but if it's easy to do I'd recommend doing it now. It would be one of those things that really bugs me haha if I knew they were red underneath! Then again I'm a bit anal haha

if it bugs me i will do it but i doubt it will. aslong as the main parts are done and all good thats all i really worry about. i am pretty fussy but not by that much!!! :)

There was a sol this colour at Japfest on the stand over from us. djbako used to have a similar colour one too.

cool didnt happen to get any pics??

small update bumpers/slam panel/number plate plinth has been painted. so they have to go on tomorrow. stonechip the rear whell arches and a few other bits and she is finally ready to be driven back to home. i will post pics up tomorrow of progress and nearing the finished article. minus the suspension/wheels e.t.c

car has been built up and is home now, still need to make a few adjustments here and there and do the black on the bumpers/sideskirts. and got to have the bonnet done.
