Week after I brought it home.

Image

The paint on roof, trunk, sails, and hood was faded and peeling. (dont have photos)
Wrapped the hood, trunk, roof, and top bits. (100$ for wrap and approx 3 hrs with a friend)
Popped on a 3 panel mirror. 20$ (3 panel suck. Go for 5 panel or stay with stock.)

Image

Forgot to wrap the carbon in same direction.. Photo below. Lesson learned for future.
Image

Wrapped my old EG lip, popped that on too.

Image

Popped on a Extreme Dimensions splitter (IDGAF i like it), traded my tenzo R seats for it, plus i got some cash ontop.

Image

Took off those god ugly chrome rims, popped on some 17" Konigs.
Cant beat monkey pile cheap rims with good tires. 200$

Got backed into..... They took the blame and the car got covered.
Waiting on the gas tank cover from japan............. fml

Image

Fitment is monkey pile on this car, front bumper, rear, hood, all lights.

Image
Image

Usual rear faded paint/ repainted or whatever the F is going on there.
I will be repainting with proper paint.

Image

Swapped all 4 shocks, and rear LCAs finally. What a pain.....
Blackworks LCA's with K Sport Kontrol Pros. 80$ + 160$ used coils... =)

Image

4 Hrs later.... first time swapping coils and rear arms.
Plasti dipped rims white 15$

Image

More work to come, comments and reccomendations welcome, negative or positive.

Paint.
Painted door indent, front bumper, and sails (thanks no-sol!). 70$

Image

Image

Transtop.
Still figuring out how to fix the dam thing, like all other del sols, mine has a problem, and no thread out there has the same problem as mine :(

9-3-2012

Fitment

Did some bumper to hood fitment.
Both sides, pictures only of one side.

Image

Bulbs

Picked up some LED Aux bulbs. 30$
Conclusion > F"ing bright and no more yellow bulbs, but do not provide pointed light.

Image

Also picked up new blue tipped headlight bulbs (Wanted something white and not yellow color.) 30$
Conclusion > Yes they are white'R but better off going for HID's, theres still some yellow to them.

Subs

These will be going into my trunk after I get back. Going to make a box that will fit both inside my trunk.

15" Clarion and Concept subs. 50$?

Image

9-8-2012

Ripped off all the rear and side panels to wire up the car for amp/subs.
Cars good to go!

Transtop still does not f'kn work.......

New grounding wire all around. 10$

Ripped out the new spark plugs from my red del sol and shoved it on the SiR

Tucked some parts in the engine bay.
- Right side headlight wires
- Booster hose
- Cluster of wires here and there...
- Power steering

Still yet to rip off the valve cover and give that a paintjob.
Gonna match the rest of my sh*t that i painted.

9-10-2012

Image

Waiting on cam gears, gotta pick up some cams at some point, repaint the valve cover while i pop em in.

9-13-2012

FIXED THE GOD DAM TRANSTOP

Image

Trans top issue was 2 disconnected wires inside the tilt motor. And possibly a switch for the rear window that indicated if the window was up/down.

Anyone know what this is? Has a fan on it...
Its behind the drivers side (jdm) under the speaker area.

Image

Ripped the seats out, they had a little bit of corrosion around the bolting area to the frame, cleaned, anti rust popped on.

Prepping valve cover for paint atm.
Box for dual subs, took me about 5 hours from start to finish.

First day back on the road after all the work done. Couple local car meets.
Eye popper for sure.

Three days later, a wild photo appeared.

10-12-2012

Sold the konigs, picked up some sora't wheels with new tires. 350$

Image

10-29-2012

Transtop broke again. :thud: So mad.
Subs stopped working properly aswell.

12-17-2012

Car is back in the garage till March-April 2012.

Appreciate it Ryd2!
London, plasti dip held up good, cleaning is a pain..... best off to wash off the dirt every few days to keep yourself from a hassle later.

01-12-13
Few updates.

Installed the new front lower control arms, bushing were toast on old ones and was cheaper to buy full new arms... shipped.....

New upper Skunk2 control arms. 160$
Image

New rear SRR camber kit. 80$
Image

01-23-13

Ebay Headlights and fog lights.

Just got my headlights and fogs off ebay. Everything came super nicely packaged, quality looks good for now, as for visibility and long term quality I will try to post updates after driving for a wile.
Image

Ebay vs Stock headlights. Stock ones have full adjustability, as Ebay have only one position where they can sit.... 200$
Image

Ebay vs Stock fogs. Stock fogs have no inner reflector, ebay did. I had LED bulbs inside my stock and all it did was give me light for 3 meters, pretty much useless. Mounting is exactly the same on stock vs ebay. Ebay fogs paint was a little off/spotty in a few spots, but not worth complaining. 50$
Image

Also ordered some cheap filters. 15$ea
Image

Currently waiting on a subframe brace.
Still alot of work to be done.

Been a wile...

02/05/2013

Ebay lights compared to stock, they display the same amount of light, the light just comes out in a different look.
Ebay foglights with the reflecting inners dont do anything, just like the stock fogs.

Image

Ebay fitment for headlights. (Note my front bumper is out of place hence why the bottom looks out of place) I would reccomend ebay headlights to anyone who wants a new look. They fit pretty dam good.

Image
Image

My trunk was always soaked after rain..... There are vent holes behind the rear tail lights, after years they tend to peel themself off from the body. Filled the holes, trunk is good to go. Thanks to Slimer for pointing it out on his car!

Image

03/30/2013

Subframe brace mounted, got it off ebay for 100$.

Image

Had a hit and run on the car, gave me a reason to fix the rear spiderweb, drivers door, and the left rear body that was hit. (only got one after pic, check out future overall car pics for how it came out)

Image
Image
Image
Tails after repaint
Image

Popped on two breathers, cheap as F off ebay. Personally think they look dope compared to the stock hose.

Image
Image

04/19/2013

Installed a fuel cut off switch. (no i am not posting a photo durrrr)
Removed seats and full int clean.
Popped the rear panels back into place.
Removed the seat belt mech and retightened the spring coil.
Paint on the gathers speaker covers was old and faded, painted gold to match the rest of my monkey pile.

The thing with the fan on it under the drivers side rear speaker is the aircon sensor I think.

Forgot about this site

Around August....

Just put these on, +10offset, running 1° camber on front, 2° camber on rear.
Rubs only on hard drops / really hard turns

Image

Rims are STR 15" ET10 8wide with 195/50/15 tires by the way.
What do you think? Mexi? Semi-mexipoke? Looks good?

Image

Havent done much to the car otherwise, busy with school.

October...Ish
Some little progress.

03/02/2013

Bought 120mm LED strips off ebay for 8$, wired it in series with a dimmer switch and an on/off switch, only used one that runs from passanger to drivers side.
Photo is sorta really shitty you get the idea

Image

Useto have a pokemon gameboy card oil checker, it melted off...... LOL
welded on my bracelet chain

Image

04/09/2013

Here comes the hate

Picked these up, ended up being 80 shipped.
60mm Neo Chrome spiked lug nuts.

+
Paint does not strip easy even with impact gun
Dont come ghetto wrapped from shipping
Can take off the spikes if you want
Comes with O-rings
I was expecting shitty aluminum, its actually quite durable and does not get eaten quickly from torque.

-
2 or 3 of the lugs had a wide outer edge? socket was a tight fit
A few of the spikes had tiny paint scratches

For 80$ I aint complaining. +1 for sickspeed products

Image

Lastly some more sexy photos.
