nah keeping standard internals, there good for around 280bhp 300 if you push it on standards but im sticking at around 260 to keep it safe! once i got the feel for boost, i'm gonna wack in a b18 and boost that, a guy i know is running 331bhp on standard internals on a b18!

List of whats left down to fully complete:

Send ecu off for base mapping
Finish plumbing in silicone piping on wastegate boost controller and BOV
Attach the downpipe hoping it fits
Wiring in boost gauge and the other gauge i have i cant remember lol + the pillar pod
make harness bar to go across back of seats
install harnesses and seats
New speakers all round
Coilovers

Sell car because its finished and i will want bigger power. lol

Resistor pack done, all tested and it does what its meant to do, high resistance!

Got some picture updates, all thats left now is the list above, i test fitted new seats in last night and they line up perfect! very high though but i like it! full adjustable too. tight fit so all snug! not celaned them yet! hoovered out the car, not suprised the car was covered in mould when i pulled it out after 2 months of storage in feb! found some green furry maccys chips under the seats! Also made a start on the engine cover that i fubared a while back, lost interest, my dad took over, he fixes everything and it looks awesome! all smoothed off with just H badge left!

Just uploading pics!

Been to him before, he's no longer in brixton either, he's been in orpington kent for at least 8 months now lmao! he's a little pricey for what i want, he made me a decat and welded up my tanabe to make it fit perfect and that was only 80 but he's quoted like 230 for a downpipe. bit much as i got quoted 275 for a full exhaust elsewhere lol

Small update, well kinda big, i got the downpipe bought an ebay one in the end, £60 delivered, its actually really good quality and is a toyosport one, didnt fancy £280 at solid fab although i cant fault it, i just cant bring myself to pay that much when its just a test and go kinda thing, once its all up and running, then i will start upgrading parts lol.

Also ecu has gone, off to be base mapped and socketed! should hopefully be up and running by the end of the month.

One slight problem... Here:

Image

Anyone local wanna lend me a hand? anyone local good at welding? anyone fancy a del sol day at my garage?

Things to do, sort screamer pipe out, kinda have one but its crap lol plumb in the BOV and boost controller and wire in boost gauge which i have no idea how to do lol!

bit of an update. car went a bit funny on base map, it wasnt running right etc... anyway it turned out the mapper was given the wrong details from my mate lol who said injectors where 550cc not 450cc which they are, anyhoeee.. after a week of sorting things out, took it to the mappers, got everything together bar the boost gauge and she went in on the rollers! it made 245.8bhp and 210lb of torque. pretty impressive considering the wastegate is fubar and not holding boost. its pushing up to 7psi then dumping the boost down to 5psi. so i need a new wastegate and im going to get an electric boost controller as that was causing a bit of chaos too! anyway its now on the road and running!

heres some update pics:

Image

Image

Image

Managed to fit a harness bar too which is handy lol.

Image

All thats left to do now is plumb in the boost gauge, fit the new wastegate and ebc, fit new rocker cover and oil catch can. and jobs a gooden!
