Think I just made a mess! The whole thing looks meant to be, all the touches have come together nicely. You'll be scratching up that splitter if you go lower but probably cheaper to repair that than repaint the bumper! I spy some sneaky canards there

I ain't parking next to you at the weekend, makes mine look weak and pathetic!

Stunner!
Did you know DSUK are on:

Pure porn. Absolutely love it. So looking forward to seeing it. The last time and only time I've seen it before was Beaulieu, so very apt to be seeing it there again.
Awesome work, well done.

Thanks everyone for the comments, it does help justify the time and effort gone into her!
Beaulieu was a great show yesterday, had a real good time catching up with everyone and nice to drive a delsol to a show for a change

As a quick update, I got my valve cover back from the bodyshop the day before Beaulieu so here she is fitted at the show:

Next jobs (don't tell the mrs):

- Raise rear backbox up
- Replace the ebay intake plastic tubing with 3" polished tubing
- Fit a polished exhaust runner cover I had made at work (need to weld bracket to the manifold)
- Replace my TPS as it is throwing a CEL and not allowing me to VTEC all the time :(

So I thought I should update this thread with the latest news, most if not all of you will have seen on Facebook I made it into a magazine :) Very happy as it's a childhood dream that's been realised. Will add a few pics to this post a bit later, but I'm very very chuffed to get some national (maybe worldwide) coverage and acknowledgement :)

edit: some pics

So it went from him saying the engine bay wasn't very good, to winning best engine bay.

Well done though, definitely well deserved.

Just read through this from start to finish  , took me a morning, 3 cups of coffee and a quick break for a "no2" - probably the best investment of my time all year!!

Awesome job and so much info thank you, really didn't think the MK3 CRX/Del Sol had much of a following but glad I've found this place.

Knowing Rich from way back I'm not surprised that you're impressed by his work - the man knows his stuff and cares more to the point. He's about 400 miles from me and I'd still want him to do specialist work on my car.

Hey Tom, just seen your message. Thank you so much, it means a lot when someone takes time out of their day to read it, let alone comment! That's quite a few pages to get through

Regards updates for the thread. I have done sweet FA on the car since the shoot! Last time I drove her was just before Christmas when I then I tucked her up in the garage for the cold months. Plan is to drive her from 1st April, can't wait.

Regards future mods, I really don't want to invest too much more time or money as I have achieved my dream/target for the car. However..... I think I'm going to put the interior back to black. So if anyone likes the current interior send me an offer. S2K seats, all red trim including custom rear speaker pods etc. Maybe even the dash with the screen.

The only other mod I'm contemplating is a custom rear diffuser, and possibly bags. But I don't think I want to spend that much!!

What a build, lovely to see how the body is modified to fit the wheels. Love it.
