Looks a little darker than usual.
A-ha! Good eye, dude!
I had been looking for something a bit different to the standard red that's used on so many cars, since I was going full colour change and all would have to be something eye-catching for me, so I chose a red from the Mitsubishi range of colours, as it would then stand out amongst other regular red cars
and make people go "Oh, that's a bit different" without screaming attention!

You'll be bringing it to Total Jap Car at Knockhill in July I hope?
Would definitely love to as it's now back on the road, although my engine is fairly drinking the fuel...MOT's in May so I'll see how that works out for me
solman wrote:Yes im loving this! Gives me some inspiration to get my arches done.
is your drivers sill going again after getting it done, or did you only do the pass side?
RIght, is it the aerial that causes this? I'm removing mine filling it in, I'm sure thats why the drivers side is worse, should have sealed it with some silicone.
Yes I would definitely say that's one factor in the rusting, was one of the reasons I removed the ariel (apart from the duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh
)
Where my ariel sat it had rusted and bubbled quite badly. Water was leaking inside, running down and collecting where the drivers seatbelt unit was, and I had to replace that as water had rusted the mechanism
Now since sealing my arches, sills and resealed the rubbers along the roof with Tiger seal, my car is
almost completely bone dry now, whereas before I had terrible condensation due to water constantly being inside the car.
It's definitely worth doing Solman, and your car will benefit more as well
