Oh bugger it, lemmie just paste it into this post too so at least they are together:

Right, here we go again. Please can a mod or an Admin make this a sticky or something that can be seen by all!

RED CIRLES

Righty, lights in red are the headlights. On a UK/US del sol these are two piece glass sets and the indicator is orange. On the JDM del sols these are one piece plastic sets and are clear. The come on using the head light switch for side lights, main lights and beams.

BLUE CIRCLES

The lights in the blue circles are the AUX lights (auxiliary lights), which means they are just secondary / support / backup lights to the main headlights.
US / UK cars these will come on when you either flash / engage the main beams, and are not controlled independently. The lenses are also glass.
JDM cars these aux lights are independently controlled by a switch with is located on the centre console, next the ciggy tray, and can be switched on and off at will. The JDM aux lenses are again plastic.

I “think that the bulbs in the UK/US aux lights are around 25w (because they are used for flashing) and the JDM are a pathetic 5w.

These are NOT fog lights, even though the switch does have a fog label on it. Fog lights need to shine UNDER the fog not at it. The principles of driving in fog are that you should not engage full beams because the reflection off the fog in front of you would in fact hinder your visibility.

YELLOW CIRLCES

These are the optional extra lower mounted fog lights, and where an extra offered to JDM cars. These are genuine fog lights and when switched on they turn off the aux lights (due to the shining in the fog thing I mentioned above). The button to turn these on / off is found in front for the gear stick. UK / US cars will not normally have this installed, but you can buy the set from Honda (like AA did) and have a independent button rigged up to switch them on / off.

Rear fogs on JDM’s - The rear fogs that are installed on most JDM’s are the small, powerful rectangle low mounted lights. Normally a button is installed somewhere in the car to switch these on / off (mine was to the right of my steering wheel). If, like flameboy, you have this rear light linked to your AUX light button then the import place has just been lazy and wired it into the button.

I hope this all helps, now let this be the last of it!
