Bought one from bba today...

Needed one now, as its a bankholiday weekend...

And they said 2-3 days for a refurbed unit, before they get it, or a new one on the shelf...

Refurb for a vti/sir is £175 + vat

New is £250 + vat

I wanted one now so i got a new one...!! code td44, esi is td42

Cheers Nick

Well, looks like my distributor's on the way out. It's making strange whirring / 'gurgling' noises :x

Has anybody else experience with Distributor King? I'm thinking of ordering the TD44U as seems quite cheap @ $160 + $60 postage compared to £250 for an OEM one.

Well my new distributor arrived today. Very quick delivery (3 working days), but here's the catch - IT'S THE WRONG BLOODY ONE!!

They've gone and sent me a TD41 for an esi instead of a TD44 for an SiR. Their fark up as it's clearly stated in all emails and even on the delivery docket that it was a TD44 ordered.

Just popped of a complaint to them this minute. I hope their customer service is as good as their delivery.

It's from Distributor King in Canada, brand new dizzy TD41 for the 1.5 sol.

TBH, if it turns out to be too much hassle to return it to Canada (depending on DK's response to the complaint), I'll put it up for sale here at cost price and absorb the shipping cost to the UK myself (€12 versus €60 no contest).
Of course, I'll cancel the credit card transaction

hey sparky,
they did the same to me, but when i complained briefly, they sorted it by sending correct one, but no normal ones in stock so i got a free upgrade of the chrome plated one. i can't remember how i sent the other back and if they paid.

Ok got to give credit where due. Sent them an e-mail of complaint yesterday evening and got a reply at 10 this morning with a return reference number and their Fedex a/c number so I can ship the part back at no cost.

I'll send it back tomorrow and post an update when I have one.

@ James M - hopefully they'll only have the chrome ones in stock for me as well
Is your dizzy still working with no probs?

Yep, been ages now, 6months now and still working perfect.

I lost some of my memory but from reading my old post in this topic, he was out of stock (not: he sent me one & i returned) and sent me the chrome one.

Well, what can I say, Distributor King have fantastic customer service :D

As I've said, they sent me the wrong dizzy which arrived on Wednesday. I sent an e-mail complaining Wednesday evening and the next morning they had replied with Fedex a/c number to return the part at no cost.

FRIDAY morning the replacement dizzy was delivered and I haven't even returned the wrong one yet!!
These guys are very quick and apparently very honest and trusting to send on the replacement without return of the first one, especially in the ebay world of scams and people not paying.

Distributor King - 2 enthusiastic thumbs up 8)
