In and around that sort of idea Vince....
The Japenese sysytem of MOT means that after certain amount of miles the car has to move up to a more stringent form of MOT. This is why they export loads of cars, in and around 40'000 kms. The work is finacially unjustifiable and the car is worth more to an import company than another Japanese user.
This is basically what you said......but you wanted it confirmed.

Im not exactly sure but they run at 190bhp, but have alot more torque as they are a 1.8... Dunno how much but probably like 135lb where as the sol as about 110lb...

Yes is the Teg type r, b18c5...
The 1.8vti has 170bhp... Dont know the name of the engine though
