Nice work and pics. Lucky you for having a garage to work in; last time I took off the sail panels it started pouring hard!

If it's just kinked then you can get to it from either the boot or from the other side (just need to remove the storage bins and there's slightly better access that way)

I just cleared my other drain today. I took off the plastic sill and shoved a pipe cleaner up the hole under the car. It worked a treat! :D

Look what came out :

This stuff must have been there for years, it smelt really bad :(

:? Dude, where was this hole that you cleared with the pipe cleaner? If you mean you took those plastic sills on either side off, then shoved the cleaner up the pipe with a rubber bung thing (near the rear wheel arches) then that's actually the same drain as you had already cleaned. The sail panel tubes come out near the back of each arch and the lower (rear window) drain tubes come out near the centre of the car (I think around the fuel tank area but I'm not certain)

They exit over the top of the gas tank and the water runs off the front side of it.

I must get on and do this to mine, as i have a couple of small puddles forming in the boot, the water is running from somewhere, down where the rear suspension turret s are to settle at the bottom of the boot. From reading the above posts, what did you guy's seal the clips with? Silicone grease or Silicone sealer( like bath stuff) ?
Somebody left me a nice note on the car today......... It said 'Parking fine'...That was nice!!!

You mean the sail panel clips? I used loctite silicone sealant, £5 a tube from Halfords. It needs to hold it in place, provide a watertight seal and yet have the ability to flex a very small amount, so I'm not sure that bathroom sealant is ideal to be honest

A seasonal bump to remind people that this time of year is a great time to check your drains. I've just done mine, both rears were blocked! It only takes half an hour or so, less than a clean of the car and more important.

Especially if you park under/around a tree losing its leaves.

Just done mine today (start of a new car season right?)

Anyway lots of gunk. and decomposing leaves - will again echo the comments about if you park around that sort of thing then expect them to be there. Overall not as bad as a first thought though - the way we did it was undo the sail panels (came off easily, like they'd been done before), and then stuck the pressure washer over the hole, blew it all straight out!

Clearing helps only temporary as leaves will block them after some time. It's needed to cut off the drain valves under the car, actually they are not needed at all. The valve doesn't let any hard particles out of drain hose. Honda engineers overdid it  .
