First of all i will show you a pic of what it was like before:-
As you can see not the best condition you have seen before.
Step 1.
Remove cover which hides the spark plugs and also remove bolts holding pipes as pic shows.
Step 2.

Step 3.
Remove spark plugs as required dont know the size as i didnt look
Step 4.
Remove all 8 10mm nuts holding the rocker cover in places as shown in pic.
Step 5.
Remove rocker cover from engine bay.
Well thats removing it done, Time taken about 30mins with taking pic and never donw it before.( Please add if i missed anything)
Painting Rocker cover.
Next on the list was to paint it with some VHT paint, I wanted a red VHT paint but i order the wrong one and got black
But never mind still does the job.
Step 1.
I used nitro mors which i got from woolworths for £2.09 which i thinks a bargain as everywhere else i look cost around the £4.00 mark. Tools shown below.
Step 2.
Place rocker cover on something like bricks or like me a cable drum
just so its easy to do down the bottom of the rocker cover.
Step 3.
Start using the nitro mors on the rocker cover I found the more you use the easy the paint come off. you can tell when its done as the paint start to flake off as shown below.
Step 4.
I then got the hose out and washed it all down.
Next came the paint, I done mine in my workshop as it was easier because i had all the tool but it does say to paint in a well vented area.
I Used some silcon grease to make sure my HONDA and VTEC stood out as you can see on the pic down the page a bit it work great
I went from side to side then up and down for my first coat waited about 10 mins then done a second coat.
I then got my heat gun out as it say it give it a better finish with closer Wrinkles shown here.
After a few hours this is how it should look.
