Is anyone bringing a BBQ and food?

Also, is there anything I was supposed to bring?

Good idea! We should all bring some rolls, burgers etc and have a bbq one night! I've got one disposable one I can bring.

Souns good to me, I didn't want to be the only one bringing BBQ stuff, given that we may well all be together for the majority of the weekend. I'll likely just bring my gas torch, as it cooks just as well as coal (and makes fantastic cheese on toast).

Because your overfuelling. Gas vs charcoal, has to be charcoal every time for me!

10pm and I've finally finished my costume.
I guess I'll be doing everything else last minute, as usual.

I honestly didn't foresee it taking so long to make, but it would have been a waste had I not finished.

I'm undecided on weather it was worth it.

Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who made a relatively low on numbers JAE still an absolute blast, I'm proud to be part of this group as everyone makes it such a friendly place to be with lots of giggles along the way.

Jamie especially (and Jess) for organising everything and those bacon sarnies every morning, the 'soltasic' and generally lethal cocktail punch prior to the fancy dress and general altogether niceness :)

The new venue I thought was a little disappointing compared to wicksteed - the general landscape less 'interesting' but it grew on me as time went on and we all settled in. It certainly has room for future expansion and the lack of speed bumps was a major plus, also it was nice to have some proper buildings for the disco etc. so I think as we start calling it our new JAE home we will all grow to love it like we did wicksteed.

Our plot was a very decent size, maybe too big for our needs especially this year but here's hoping there will be more sols in 2016. It was out of the way of all the noise in the trade/Iko arena but close enough to still feel a part of everything. Certainly no complaints here. I think bunting would be a good idea next yr to help distinguish the area and it's always funny to watch the mr2 owners opposite training for all their events. On that side of things, having been involved in the Iko for the last 7-8 years it was nice to chill out and not have to run around and worry about all that this yr, a good decision I think for this year.

Some beautiful cars at the show and I hope the two Luke's pops up their pics soon. I'm definitely doing the drifting school next year having watched Luke, Jamie and Jess do so well at it!

Another great JAE, roll on next year!!
