Saalright, Me, an Denni, and Mefferick, and Sam and Georgia, and Si and Racha are still going.... Changed direction a bit like, going straight over the top to Switzerland, for a week, then down into Italy for a week, then back thru France over 2 days....

BUT I am determined to do this next year and meet up with our fellow European Sols in June or July to commemorate the Sol's 20th anniversary. I'll make reference to this thread as I think it has lots of useful info in it for next time. Hopefully we'll get a fair bit more interest too

I'd be well up for this next year I hope. I've always wanted to go on a road trip to france and even germany for the nuerburg (can't spell) ring . My Sol won't be any where near finished in time for this year, plus the mrs had a baby 3 weeks ago so definitly a no go. If any of you are still going this summer hols or next year I made this list of 'Objectives/Missions' to do for shits n giggles on the journey. I wrote it up just incase me and the boys went. If you want I could write it all out for you then feel free to add or delete bits. But basically I was going to print it all out then hand it to all the guys, each objective would defo have to be photographed and the team or person with the most completed would win a small novelty trophi and even the loser would. Mayb a trophi for the person that broke down the most etc. Possibly have them inscribed with 'Tour De France' or in this case 'DSUK Tour 2011'. Anyway let me know if your interested in what I got and I'll dig the paperwork out and write it up here.

Exactly! its hard enough to get people to join us for a weekend camping in England! With the work involved to organise this to have 4 people come no thanks
