That sounds like an awesome idea!! Haha hopefully my poor del sol will be fixed and hopefully upgraded by then! I've managed to source out some TWM ITB's not fitted yet! Anyone got an idea of how much bhp is expected after fitting and tuning?

Sweet, another one to add to the list :) Although fitting and tuning ITBs is pretty tricky and very time consuming mate. See one of Paulm's build threads as he tried and gave up in the end I think.

Well I've been told of a Honda tuner by a mate. Aparantly he's meant to be good! So hopefully will be running well! I'm looking for around 200bhp. It's a b16a2 engine, megan 421 mani with straight through custom exhaust and decat. Do you think 200 is achievable when the itb's are fitted and it's be remapped?

possibly mate. Why not put a dedicated thread up in the NA Tuning forum ;)

Back to the France trip, currently thinking about going from Calais to Saint Nazaire, with a stop off at Le Mans on the way. Even though the 24hr race won't be on in July/August, I'm sure it will still be cool to stop off and have a look around. Saint Nazaire is on the west coast so could have a day at the beach lol

I'm asking around to try and find the best driving routes or roads so there may be a better route/destination but if anyone else (or friends) has any experience driving in France let me know

Simple answer. No I'm afraid. You'd be lucky to see 175 with a standard b16 on itbs

parts around £100 though depends what else you want done at the same time. as for labour, then people charge various amounts and whether they include cambelts/waterpump etc. average garge rate is £80 an hour and its easily a mornings work

***I can do any of those in the Green.

Shouldn't we get a date set quick and book the ferry tickets as I'm sure it will get expensive as the days gets closer..

My insurance runs out on the May 2011, So when I renew I will let them know about the Europer Trip to see if I'm covered. If not then I will have to find another way (don't mind paying extra to someone else who can insure me in France).

So far I have 3 people and me (driver) in the car..

Sounds good to me. Taking the sol off the road the for a while :-( (bad times), to save some money and get a few things sorted, if its still off the road at the time i'll tax it and find a company that do so many days insurance :-) then when we'r back get my tax back :-P
